Houst took over Hostmaker's UK accounts in 2020

Hostmaker, whose global mission was to help property investors, landlords and homeowners unlock the potential of every home and redefine the rental experience, has ceased its activity. Houst took over managing all properties.

Hostmaker acquired by Houst

Hostmaker was a professional host management company offering a wide range of services to help Airbnb hosts maximise their earnings and enjoy a hassle-free hosting experience.

The company was founded in 2013 by Nakul Sharma and Deena Patel, two entrepreneurs who also saw the potential for Airbnb to revolutionise the hospitality industry.

Hostmaker expanded rapidly to operate in 15 cities across Europe and Asia with a comprehensive range of services, including listing optimisation, guest communication, cleaning and laundry, check-in and check-out, and 24/7 support.

In March 2020, Hostmaker fell into administration, Houst quickly stepped in to acquire the UK accounts and help property owners continue earning, managing everything for them.

If you're a previous Hostmaker customer or a property owner looking for a short-let property management firm, book a call with our team to discuss further.

Hosting opens a world of opportunity.

People have never been more free, and the world never more open. We choose our own paths and make our own chances.

In this era of opportunity, your home can be more than just bricks, mortar, and a mortgage. Host, and your home can earn that round-the-world trip, the time to pursue your passion, or the chance to start your own business.

But it isn't always easy.

Sourcing, managing and dealing with a constant changeover of tenants can be tricky.

Responding to messages at 1am. Finding a good - and reliable - cleaner. Leaving your dinner to deliver spare keys. Without a host partner, you’ll find that hosting guests from around the world on a platform like Airbnb doesn't free you, it ties you down.
