Yes. From 1 January 2025, an owners corporation can ban short-term letting by passing a special resolution with a 75% majority of lot owners or lot entitlements. The ban does not apply if the property is the owner's or occupier's principal place of residence. If you live in the apartment and rent a room while you are there, an OC ban cannot affect you.
