Key rules include: a maximum of three rooms may be rented out at any one time; no more than six guests are permitted at one residence simultaneously; at least one onsite parking bay must be available; alcohol is prohibited at guesthouses and B&Bs operating as short-term lets; and noise disturbances affecting neighbours are not permitted. Properties must also be registered with the City and comply with body corporate or HOA rules where applicable.
